Information We Collect
We collect account and sign-in data you provide, including your email address, date of birth, optional phone number, device identifiers used for session security, and Google or Apple sign-in details if you choose those login methods. We also collect profile content such as photos, prompts, bio, interests, preferences, verification submissions, likes, matches, messages, reports, and blocks.
Location, Notifications, and Diagnostics
With your permission, Murudo uses approximate location to improve discovery results and profile location display. We may also process push notification tokens, device and app diagnostics, and crash reports so the service remains secure and stable.
How We Use Information
We use your information to operate matching, messaging, verification, subscriptions, and boosts; personalize discovery results; send essential service notifications; investigate abuse, fraud, scams, and safety incidents; maintain account security; and comply with legal obligations.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with service providers that host data, store media, send email or push notifications, process purchases, or help us monitor app stability; with law enforcement when legally required; and with other users through the profile and messaging information you choose to share in the app.
Payments
Mobile and web purchases are processed through platform or payment partners. Murudo stores subscription status and transaction or receipt references, not full card credentials.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain data for as long as needed to operate the service, enforce safety measures, resolve disputes, and satisfy legal obligations. If you delete your account, core personal data is removed while limited audit, security, payment, or abuse-prevention records may be retained where necessary.
Your Choices
You can update profile data in the app, control privacy settings such as location and last active visibility, pause discovery, review account deletion steps at Murudo Account Deletion, and contact us regarding account access, corrections, export requests, or privacy questions.
